Description
With the Thermomix® you can easily make a refreshing lemon lemonade from organic lemons, lemon juice, water and sugar. The drink is vegetarian, vegan, lactose-free and gluten-free. The preparation time is 10 minutes, plus 350 minutes cooling time, and yields 6 servings. Ideal for hot summer days and as a refreshing thirst quencher for the whole family.

130.5 g Lemon juice

50 ml Water

75 g Sugar

750 ml Sparkling water
Preparation (5 steps)
Grate lemon peels and squeeze juice
Wash the 2 organic lemons with hot water. Peel the peels with a vegetable peeler and set aside. Halve the lemons and squeeze out the juice. Measure out approximately 130 g of lemon juice, plus keep half a lemon for decoration.
Chop lemon peels
Put the lemon peels in the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./level 7. Push down with the spatula.
Prepare syrup
Add 50 ml of water and 75 g of sugar to the chopped lemon peels in the mixing bowl. Heat for 5 min./100°C/level 2 without a measuring cup until the sugar has completely dissolved. Then let the syrup cool in the mixing bowl.
Mix lemonade
Pour the cooled syrup through a fine sieve into a carafe to remove the lemon peels. Add the squeezed lemon juice (approx. 130 g) and carefully top up with 750 ml of sparkling water.
Cool and Serve
Refrigerate the lemonade until serving (at least 6 hours). Before serving, decorate with lemon slices and add ice cubes if necessary.
