Description

The Always-Warm-Up-Again Soup from the Thermomix® is a hearty main course with soup vegetables, Kabanossi sausage, and potatoes. Preparation takes about 35 minutes and yields 8 servings. This inexpensive recipe is ideal for the cold season and reheats well. Also possible as a vegetarian option without meat. Perfect as a family meal or for a quick, satisfying meal.

Ingredients (14 ingredients)

  • 300 g Soup vegetables, except for the parsley, in pieces
  • 1 Stück Onion, halved
  • 2 Stück Garlic cloves
  • 300 g Kabanossi sausage, sliced
  • 15 g Oil
  • 350 g Potatoes, diced
  • 650 g Hot water
  • 2 TL Vegetable seasoning paste
  • 2 TL Dried oregano
  • 400 g Chopped tomatoes (canned)
  • 850 g White beans (canned), drained
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 TL Sugar

Chop parsley

Put the parsley from the soup vegetables into the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 8 and transfer. Put the remaining soup vegetables in the mixing bowl, chop for 4 sec./speed 5 and transfer.

Chop onion and garlic

Sauté Kabanossi sausage

Add Kabanossi sausage with oil and sauté for 4 min./120°C/speed 1.

Add vegetables, potatoes, water and spices

Thermomix® Setting
20 min/208°F/Speed 1 208°F

Add chopped vegetables, potatoes, hot water, vegetable seasoning paste and oregano and cook for 20 min./98°C/speed 1 without the measuring cup, using the splash guard.

Add tomatoes and spices

Add chopped tomatoes with parsley, except for some for garnish, and continue cooking for 10 min./98°C/speed 1 without the measuring cup.

Add beans and spices

Add beans, 1.5 tsp salt, 2 pinches of pepper and sugar, mix with the spatula and let it steep for 5 min. Then serve the soup garnished with parsley.
