Description

Serbian rice meat from the Thermomix® is a hearty casserole with rice, peppers, onions and tomato paste. This main course is an inexpensive and filling meal for the whole family. Preparation in the Thermomix® takes about 60 minutes, of which 25 minutes are active working time. The recipe yields 6 servings.

Ingredients (13 ingredients)

  • 2 Stück Onions
  • 2 EL Oil
  • 2 Stück Peppers
  • 1 Stück Stick Celery
  • 2 EL Tomato paste
  • 250 g Rice
  • 500 ml Broth
  • 1 TL Salt
  • 0.5 TL Pepper
  • 1 TL Paprika powder
  • 1 TL Rice Spice
  • 500 g Meat (e.g. Pork)
  • 200 g Sour cream

Preparation (7 steps)

Chop onions

Put onions into the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./level 5.

Add oil to the onions in the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./120°C/level 1.

Add peppers and celery

Put peppers and celery into the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./level 4.

Add tomato paste and rice

Add tomato paste and rice and sauté for 2 min./120°C/level 1 without measuring cup.

Deglaze with broth and season

Thermomix® Setting
20 min/212°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 212°F Reverse

Deglaze with broth, add salt, pepper, paprika powder and rice spice and cook for 20 min./100°C/reverse rotation level 1 with measuring cup.

Fry meat

Fry meat in a separate pan.

Add meat and sour cream

Add fried meat and sour cream to the mixing bowl and stir in for 5 min./90°C/reverse rotation level 1.
