  • 1 kg mixed minced meat
  • 1 chorrito milk
  • 1 clove finely chopped garlic
  • 0.5 piece lemon (zest)
  • 1 piece egg
  • 2 cucharadas breadcrumbs
  • 1 cucharada Rising Sun spices from Specials
  • 1 cucharadita sweet paprika
  • 1 bunch fresh or dried parsley
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 piece spring onion
  • 2 piece carrots
  • 1 puñado peas
  • 1 piece sliced mushrooms
  • 250 ml crushed tomato
  • 3 cucharadas homemade fried tomato
  • 2 hojitas bay leaf
  • 1 pinch flour
  • 1 pinch sunflower oil

Preparation (8 steps)

Preparation of the meatball dough

In a large bowl, mix 1 kg of mixed minced meat, a splash of milk, 1 clove of finely chopped garlic, the zest of half a lemon, 1 egg, 2 tablespoons of breadcrumbs, 1 tablespoon of Rising Sun spices from Specials, 1 teaspoon of sweet paprika, fresh or dried parsley and salt to taste. Mix very well until you get a homogeneous dough. Cover with transparent film and refrigerate for at least 2 hours.

Form and flour the meatballs

After refrigerating the dough, form balls with the meat and lightly flour them.

Fry the meatballs

In a pan with plenty of hot sunflower oil, fry the meatballs until golden brown. Remove and reserve.

Chop the spring onion and carrot

Put 1 spring onion in the bowl and chop 3 sec./Stufe 5. Remove and reserve. Put 2 carrots in the bowl and chop 3 sec./Stufe 5. Remove and reserve.

Add a little sunflower oil to the bowl. Incorporate the chopped spring onion and carrot. Sauté for 5 min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Add sliced mushrooms and 1 handful of peas to the bowl. Cook for 3 min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Incorporate the tomato

Add 250 ml of crushed tomato, 2-3 tablespoons of homemade fried tomato, 1-2 bay leaves, salt and pepper to taste. Cook for 10 min./100°C/Stufe 2.

Cook the meatballs in the sauce

Add the fried meatballs to the bowl. Cook for 15 min./100°C/Stufe 1/Linkslauf.
