Description

These veal skewers marinated with oriental spices are a real delight for the taste buds! I have been preparing this recipe for years and it is always a sensation. The secret lies in the marinade, which permeates the meat with rich and fragrant flavors. The ras el-hanout, cumin and cayenne pepper add a warm and slightly spicy touch. Ideal for a barbecue with friends or a festive dinner, these skewers go perfectly with rice, a raw vegetable salad or braised tomatoes. The preparation is simple, but the marinade requires a rest time of 24 hours for optimal results. A tasty and easy to make dish, perfect for all occasions!

Ingredients (12 ingredients)

  • 800 g Veal fillet
  • 2 c. à café Fine salt
  • 1 c. à café Ras el-hanout
  • 1 c. à café Cumin
  • 2 pincée(s) Cayenne pepper
  • 1 pincée(s) Paprika
  • 1 pincée(s) White pepper
  • 1 pincée(s) Powder
  • 1 piece Sliced onion(s)
  • 2 gousse(s) Garlic
  • 1 c. à soupe Chopped parsley
  • 1 verre(s) Olive oil

Preparation of the marinade

Slice the onion and garlic. In the Thermomix bowl, add the sliced onion and garlic. Mix for 3 Sek./Stufe 5.

Adding the spices and oil

Add the fine salt, ras el-hanout, cumin, cayenne pepper, paprika, white pepper, powder, chopped parsley and olive oil to the bowl. Mix for 10 Sek./Stufe 3.

Marinating the meat

Cut the veal fillet into cubes. In a container, mix the veal cubes with the prepared marinade. Mix well so that the meat is well impregnated. Marinate in the refrigerator for 24 hours.

Cooking the skewers

Drain the marinated meat. Thread the veal cubes onto skewers. Cook the skewers on a grill or griddle for 5 minutes on each side, until they are cooked through.
