Ingredients (5 ingredients)

  • 1 can condensed milk
  • 2 can milk
  • 3 piece eggs
  • 5 tbsp sugar
  • 0.5 piece lemon (juice)

Separate the yolks from the whites

Separate the yolks from the egg whites. Reserve the egg whites in a separate container.

Mix the yolks with the condensed milk and the milk

In the Thermomix glass, add the yolks, a medium can of condensed milk and two measures of the same can of milk. Mix for 10 seconds/Speed 4.

Whip the egg whites until stiff peaks form

Place the butterfly on the blades. Pour the reserved egg whites into the Thermomix glass and program 3 minutes/Speed 3.5 until stiff peaks form.

Incorporate the whipped egg whites into the mixture

Remove the butterfly. Gently incorporate the whipped egg whites into the mixture of yolks, condensed milk and milk with enveloping movements.

Prepare the caramel

Thermomix® Setting
7 min/Varoma/Velocidad 1 Varoma

In the Thermomix glass, add 5 tablespoons of sugar and the juice of half a lemon. Program 7 minutes/Varoma/Speed 1, without beaker, until you get a golden caramel.

Pour the caramel into the mold

Pour the hot caramel into an oven-safe mold, making sure to cover the bottom and walls well.

Pour the mixture into the mold

Pour the flan mixture over the caramel in the mold.

Cook in a bain-marie

Thermomix® Setting
45 min/Varoma/Velocidad 1 Varoma

Place the mold inside the Varoma container. Pour 500 ml of water into the Thermomix glass. Place the Varoma on the Thermomix and program 45 minutes/Varoma/Speed 1.

Cool and unmold

Let the flan cool completely inside the Varoma. Once cold, refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Unmold carefully before serving.
