Description

This aromatic Chermoula is a real all-rounder! I have been making it for years and it is always well received. The fresh herbs, coriander and parsley, give it an incomparable note. A touch of garlic, paprika and chili provide the necessary spice. Perfect with grilled vegetables, fish or meat, but also delicious as a dip with bread. The preparation is super easy and quick, ideal if you need to go fast. If you like it a little milder, you can reduce or omit the chili altogether. An absolute must for all lovers of Mediterranean cuisine!

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • Coriander
  • Parsley
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • Salt
  • Cumin
  • Sweet paprika
  • Chili powder
  • 120 ml Lemon juice
  • Extra virgin olive oil

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare herbs

Wash the coriander and parsley and pluck the leaves from the stems. Place the leaves in the mixing bowl.

Chop herbs

Chop the herbs in the mixing bowl for 5 seconds/speed 7. If necessary, push down from the edge with the spatula and repeat the process.

Add garlic

Thermomix® Setting
3 sec/Speed 8

Peel the garlic, add to the mixing bowl and chop for 3 seconds/speed 8.

Add spices

Add salt, cumin, paprika powder and chili powder to the mixing bowl.

Add lemon juice and oil

Add lemon juice and extra virgin olive oil to the mixing bowl.

Mix Chermoula

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 4

Mix all ingredients for 20 seconds/speed 4 until a homogeneous paste is formed. If necessary, help with the spatula.
