Description

I love preparing these chicken and ratatouille tortillas! It's a simple and quick recipe, perfect for a weeknight dinner or a friendly brunch. The chicken, diced and sautéed with spices, goes perfectly with the ratatouille. The touch of melted cheese makes it even more delicious. You can easily adapt the recipe by using different types of cheese or adding other vegetables. A real treat for the whole family, and so practical to prepare with the Thermomix®!

Ingredients (13 ingredients)

  • 1 piece tomato
  • 1 tsp powdered sugar
  • 200 g grated cheese
  • to taste neutral oil
  • to taste salt
  • to taste pepper
  • 1 tige rosemary
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 4 piece tortillas
  • 1 piece onion
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 piece chicken breasts
  • 1 can ratatouille à la provençale

Preparation of ingredients

Cut the onion in half and put it in the Thermomix bowl. Chop 3 Sec./Level 5. Add the garlic clove and chop 3 Sec./Level 7. Scrape the sides of the bowl with a spatula.

Cooking the onion and garlic

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

Add a dash of neutral oil to the bowl. Sauté the onion and garlic 3 Min./120°C/Level 1.

Cooking the chicken

In a pan, sauté the diced chicken breasts with a little neutral oil over medium heat until they are cooked through on all sides. Season with salt, pepper and paprika.

Adding the ratatouille and spices

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Add the ratatouille à la provençale, the powdered sugar and the rosemary sprig to the Thermomix bowl. Mix 3 Min./100°C/Level 1.

Adding the tomatoes and chicken

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/122°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 50 Reverse

Add the diced tomatoes and cooked chicken to the Thermomix bowl. Mix gently 1 Min./50°C/Reverse rotation Level 1.

Filling and cooking the tortillas

Spread the tortillas and spread the Thermomix mixture on top. Sprinkle with grated cheese, then roll the tortillas tightly. Place them as you go in an ovenproof dish. Bake for 10 minutes at 180°C.
