Description

This dish of chicken breasts in creamy mustard sauce is a classic that never fails. The mustard gives it a special touch and the cream makes it incredibly smooth and delicious. I prepare it often because it is very quick and easy to make, perfect for a midweek meal. Also, it can be accompanied with white rice, mashed potatoes or a fresh salad. A complete and tasty dish that everyone at home will like! If you want to give it an extra touch, you can add a little white wine to the sauce.

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 1 piece chicken breast
  • 2 cucharadas soperas mustard
  • 1 bote cream
  • 1 rama chives or spring onion
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1 pinch pepper
  • 1 chorro oil

Preparation (7 steps)

Prepare the chives

Wash and finely chop the chives or spring onion. Reserve.

Sauté the chives

Thermomix® Setting

Add a splash of oil to the Thermomix bowl. Add the chopped chives and sauté for 3 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Prepare the mustard sauce

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/194°F/Speed 2 90

Add the mustard and cream to the Thermomix bowl. Mix for 2 Min./90°C/Stufe 2.

Reduce the sauce

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/194°F/Speed 2 90

Let the sauce reduce for 3 Min./90°C/Stufe 2, without the measuring cup, so that it thickens a little. Adjust the seasoning with salt and pepper to taste.

Cook the chicken in the pan

While the sauce is reducing, season the chicken fillets with salt and pepper. Heat a little oil in a frying pan and cook the fillets over medium heat for a few minutes on each side, until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Integrate the chicken to the sauce

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/194°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 90 Reverse

Add the cooked chicken fillets to the sauce in the Thermomix bowl. Program 2 Min./90°C/Linkslauf Stufe 1 so that they are well soaked in the sauce and heated through.

Serve

Serve the chicken breasts in mustard sauce immediately. They can be accompanied with potatoes, rice or salad.
