Description

This chicken dish is a hearty and flavorful meal that's quick to prepare, perfect for a weeknight dinner. Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 8 slice streaky bacon
  • 4 piece chicken breasts
  • 200 g baby button mushroom
  • 1 tbsp plain flour
  • 400 g chopped tomato
  • 1 cube beef stock cube
  • Worcestershire sauce
  • parsley

Preparation (5 steps)

Bacon and Chicken Preparation

Heat a shallow pan and cook the bacon slices for about 2 minutes until starting to brown. Add the chicken breasts and fry for 3-4 minutes until they have changed color. Remove the bacon and chicken from the pan and set aside.

Mushroom Sauté

Add the baby button mushrooms to the pan and cook for a few minutes until softened. Stir in the plain flour and cook until a paste forms.

Sauce Preparation

Transfer the mushrooms and flour mixture to the Thermomix. Add the chopped tomatoes, crumbled beef stock cube, and Worcestershire sauce to the Thermomix bowl.

Simmering the Sauce

Cook the sauce in the Thermomix for 10 minutes at 100°C on Speed 2.

Final Assembly

Return the bacon and chicken to the pan with the mushroom sauce. Stir in the chopped parsley and serve immediately with mashed potatoes or boiled rice.
