Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 1500 Gramm Chicken thighs (with drumstick and thigh)
  • 750 g Potatoes, small / new potatoes, washed
  • 3 Stück Garlic bulbs, separated into cloves, unpeeled
  • 10 g Oregano, fresh, whole sprigs
  • 100 ml Olive oil
  • 100 ml Lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 1.5 TL Oregano, dried spice
  • 1 TL Salt
  • Black pepper, freshly ground

Preparation (8 steps)

Preheat oven

Preheat the oven to 220 degrees Celsius (top/bottom heat). This step does not require the use of a Thermomix.

Prepare chicken

Divide the chicken thighs into drumsticks and thighs. This step does not require the use of a Thermomix.

Prepare marinade

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 3

Add 100 ml olive oil, 100 ml freshly squeezed lemon juice, 1 1/2 tsp oregano (dried spice), 1 tsp salt and black pepper to taste to the mixing bowl and mix for 10 sec/speed 3.

Marinate chicken

Pour half of the marinade over the chicken pieces and let them marinate, covered, for about 30 minutes. This step does not require the use of a Thermomix.

Prepare potatoes and garlic

Wash the potatoes and scrub them clean with a brush if necessary. Separate the garlic cloves from the bulbs. This step does not require the use of a Thermomix.

Distribute chicken on baking sheet

Place the chicken pieces on a deep baking sheet and pour the rest of the marinade from the mixing bowl over them. This step does not require the use of a Thermomix.

Add potatoes, garlic and oregano

Distribute the small potatoes, unpeeled garlic cloves and oregano sprigs in the spaces in between and pour the second half of the marinade evenly over all the ingredients. This step does not require the use of a Thermomix.

Bake

Place the baking sheet on the middle rack in the preheated oven and bake for about 45 minutes. This step does not require the use of a Thermomix.
