Description

This creamy chicken with dried tomatoes and Parmesan is a comforting and flavorful main dish, perfect for a special dinner or a family meal. The combination of the juiciness of the chicken with the richness of the creamy sauce and the sweet and sour touch of the dried tomatoes is simply irresistible. I often prepare it in winter, when I need a dish that warms my soul. It is very easy to make and always succeeds. You can serve it with white rice, fresh pasta or simply with a good piece of bread to dip in the delicious sauce. A dish that will make you feel at home!

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 3 piece Chicken breast
  • 11 piece Dried tomato
  • 75 g Parmesan cheese
  • 300 ml Liquid cream for cooking
  • 3 clove Garlic
  • 3 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper
  • 1 bunch Basil
  • 1 pinch Wheat flour

Preparation (7 steps)

Preparation of the chicken

Cut the chicken breasts into thick fillets. Lightly flour the fillets with wheat flour. Reserve.

Chopped garlic

Thermomix® Setting

Peel the garlic cloves and put them in the glass. Chop 3 seconds/Stufe 7.

Sauté the garlic and dried tomatoes

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

Add the extra virgin olive oil to the glass and sauté the chopped garlic for 3 Min./120°C/Stufe 1. Add the dried tomatoes cut into strips and sauté for 2 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Add the cream and Parmesan cheese

Thermomix® Setting
5 sec/Speed 4

Add the liquid cream for cooking and the grated Parmesan cheese to the glass. Mix 5 Sek./Stufe 4.

Cook the sauce

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/194°F/Speed 2 90

Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook the sauce for 5 Min./90°C/Stufe 2.

Incorporate the chicken

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/194°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 90 Reverse

Place the browned chicken fillets in the sauce inside the glass. Cook for 5 Min./90°C/Linkslauf Stufe 1. Turn the fillets over and cook for 2 Min./90°C/Linkslauf Stufe 1.

Serve

Serve the chicken on a large platter, cover with the sauce and the pieces of dried tomato. Garnish with fresh basil leaves.
