Description

This creamy pasta dish with forest mushrooms is an absolute delight and super quick to prepare! I love how the different types of mushrooms, together with the cream, create an incredibly aromatic sauce. Perfect for a cozy evening or when you need something quick. The fresh parsley adds that certain something. If you like, you can sprinkle some grated cheese on top. A simple but incredibly delicious dish that is guaranteed to please everyone!

Ingredients (11 ingredients)

  • 500 g Pasta dried
  • 500 g Mushrooms mixed (Button mushrooms, oyster, wild mushrooms, porcini etc.)
  • 1.5 container Cream
  • 1 piece Shallot(s)
  • 100 g Bacon
  • 1 clove Clove(s) of garlic
  • 1 tsp Thyme dried
  • 1 bunch Parsley fresh
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • Olive oil

Preparation (7 steps)

Cook pasta

Cook 500 g of pasta in a pot with salted water according to package instructions until al dente. Meanwhile, continue preparing the sauce.

Chop shallot and garlic

Thermomix® Setting
3 sec/Speed 5, 3 sec/Speed 7

Put 1 peeled shallot into the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./level 5. Add 1 clove of garlic and chop for another 3 sec./level 7. Use the spatula to push everything down from the edge.

Sauté bacon

3 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

Add 100 g of diced bacon and sauté for 3 min./120°C/level 1.

Sauté mushrooms

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/248°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 120 Reverse

Add 500 g of mixed, cleaned and chopped mushrooms to the mixing bowl and sauté for 5 min./120°C/reverse rotation level 1.

Prepare creamy sauce

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/194°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 90 Reverse

Add 1.5 cups of cream, 1 heaping tsp of dried thyme, salt and pepper and bring to the boil for 5 min./90°C/reverse rotation level 1.

Add parsley

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Linkslauf Speed 1 Reverse

Add 1 bunch of chopped parsley (except for a few leaves for garnish) and stir in for 10 sec./reverse rotation level 1.

Mix pasta and sauce

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Linkslauf Speed 2 Reverse

Add the drained pasta, dripping wet, to the mixing bowl and mix for 20 sec./reverse rotation level 2. Serve garnished with fresh parsley.
