Description

This creamy pasta dish with rosy tomato sauce is a real delight! I often prepare it for a quick lunch or a convivial dinner. The sauce, made with passata, onion and cream, is incredibly smooth and fragrant. The grated parmesan brings a touch of irresistible indulgence. It is a simple dish to make, perfect for weeknights when you are short on time. The pasta is cooked al dente and coated in this flavorful sauce. A little chopped fresh basil and a turn of the black pepper mill enhance everything. A real treat for the taste buds, and the children love it! Feel free to vary the types of pasta according to your preferences: penne rigate, fusilli, rigatoni... all go wonderfully with this sauce. For a richer version, you can add a little mascarpone to the sauce. A comforting and tasty dish to share with family or friends.

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 400 g tomato puree (passata)
  • 0.5 piece onion
  • 3 c. à s. olive oil
  • 20 cl liquid cream
  • 80 g grated parmesan
  • 2 pinch salt or fine salt
  • 1 tour black pepper
  • 400 g pasta (penne rigate, rigatoni, fusilli, or other)
  • 1 c. à s. chopped basil (or flat parsley)
  • 1 tour black pepper

Preparation (7 steps)

Preparation of the onion

Cut the onion in half and put it in the Thermomix bowl. Chop finely for 3 Sec./Stufe 5.

Cooking the onion

Add the olive oil to the bowl. Sauté the onion for 3 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Adding the passata and cooking

Pour the passata into the bowl. Add the salt. Cook for 10 Min./90°C/Stufe 2.

Adding the cream and parmesan

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/140°F/Speed 1 60

Add the liquid cream and grated parmesan to the bowl. Mix gently for 3 Min./60°C/Stufe 1.

Cooking the pasta

Meanwhile, cook the pasta in a saucepan of boiling salted water according to the package instructions. Drain the pasta.

Mixing the pasta and sauce

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/140°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 60 Reverse

Pour the drained pasta into the Thermomix bowl with the sauce. Mix gently for 2 Min./60°C/Linkslauf Stufe 1.

Add the chopped basil, black pepper and grated parmesan. Mix gently with the spatula. Serve immediately.
