Description

This creamy dessert is a real treat! The combination of fresh lemon and delicate milk cream, refined with chocolate and almonds, is simply irresistible. I have been making this Lemon Milk Cream since I was a child and it is always well received. Perfect as a light dessert after a rich meal or just in between. The preparation is super easy and the result is a real eye-catcher. Ideal for warm spring days or as a sweet surprise for a birthday. The long cooling time is worth it, I promise!

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 500 ml milk
  • 1 piece lemons _the zest_
  • 80 g sugar
  • 1 packet vanillin
  • 50 g corn starch
  • dark chocolate _melted_
  • almond slivers

Preparation (7 steps)

Heated milk

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/194°F/Speed 1 90

350 ml of milk are poured into the mixing bowl and heated for 5 Min./90°C/Stufe 1.

Addition of aromas

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 2

Add the lemon zest and 80 g of sugar and 1 sachet of vanillin to the hot milk in the mixing bowl. Mix for 20 Sek./Stufe 2.

Preparation of corn starch

In a bowl, mix 150 ml of milk with 50 g of corn starch until a smooth mixture is obtained. Make sure there are no lumps.

Removal of lemon zest

Remove the lemon zest from the mixing bowl.

Addition of corn starch

Thermomix® Setting
8 min/194°F/Speed 3 90

Add the milk and corn starch mixture to the hot milk in the mixing bowl. Cook for 8 Min./90°C/Stufe 3.

Cooling

Pour the cream into the molds and refrigerate for at least 8 hours.

Decoration

Unmold the cream onto a plate and decorate with melted dark chocolate and almond slivers.
