Description

This coffee sorbet is a true refreshing pleasure, perfect for hot summer days or as a dessert after a special dinner. The combination of intense coffee and delicate cream creates a perfect balance of flavors and textures. Preparing it with the Thermomix® is child's play and the result is a creamy and velvety sorbet. I often prepare it when I have guests for dinner, because it can be prepared in advance and stored in the freezer. A tip? Serve it with a few coffee beans for an extra touch!

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

  • 400 ml water
  • 300 g sugar
  • 250 ml unsweetened coffee
  • 150 ml fresh cream
  • whipped cream
  • coffee beans

Preparation (5 steps)

Preparation of the coffee syrup

Pour 400 ml of water, 300 g of sugar and 250 ml of unsweetened coffee into the Thermomix bowl.

Cooking the syrup

Cook the mixture for 10 Min./100°C/Stufe 2, stirring gently to ensure the sugar dissolves completely.

Cooling and mixing

Pour the coffee syrup into a bowl and add 150 ml of fresh cream. Stir gently with a spatula to mix the ingredients well.

Freezing and creaming

Cover the bowl with cling film and place in the freezer for at least 3 hours. Every half hour, stir the mixture with a fork to break up the ice crystals and obtain a creamy sorbet.

Service

Serve the coffee sorbet in individual glasses and decorate with whipped cream and coffee beans.
