Description

This chicken and mushroom pie is a comforting and delicious dish, perfect for sharing with family or friends. Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 2 láminas Pie dough
  • 2 piece Chicken breast
  • 2 piece Onion
  • 1 tbsp Wheat flour
  • 200 ml Liquid cream for cooking
  • 200 g Assorted mushrooms to taste (mushrooms, shiitake, portobello, oyster mushroom...)
  • 1 piece Egg yolk to paint the pie
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper

Preparation (11 steps)

Chicken preparation

Cut the chicken breasts into small cubes. Salt and pepper to taste. In a pan, lightly sauté the chicken cubes until they change color. Set aside.

Chopping the onion

Peel the onions and cut them into quarters. Put the onions in the Thermomix bowl and chop for 3 sec./Stufe 5.

Sautéing the onion

Add a little oil to the Thermomix bowl and sauté the onion for 3 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Chopping the mushrooms

Clean and chop the assorted mushrooms. Put the mushrooms in the Thermomix bowl and chop for 4 Seg./Stufe 4.

Cooking the mushrooms

5 min/248°F/Speed 1 248°F

Add the chopped mushrooms to the Thermomix bowl with the onion. Cook for 5 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Incorporation of chicken and flour

Add the reserved chicken to the Thermomix bowl. Add the flour and mix for 10 Seg./Stufe 3.

Filling preparation

Add the liquid cream to the Thermomix bowl. Cook for 3 Min./90°C/Stufe 2, with reverse rotation (Linkslauf). Correct the salt if necessary.

Cool the filling

Pour the filling into a container and let it cool completely.

Pie assembly

Spread one of the pie dough sheets on a baking tray. Spread the chicken and mushroom filling evenly over the dough.

Cover and seal the pie

Cover the filling with the other pie dough sheet. Close the edges by pressing with a fork to seal the pie.

Paint and bake

Beat the egg yolk and paint the surface of the pie with it. Make a small hole in the center of the pie so that the steam can escape. Bake in the preheated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes, or until golden brown.
