Description

This creamy coleslaw is an absolute classic and tastes simply delicious! I especially like to make it in the summer when it is served as a side dish for grilling or with burgers. The salad is super easy to prepare and can be prepared well in advance, as it needs some time to infuse anyway. The yogurt and mayonnaise make it particularly creamy and the apple cider vinegar provides a pleasant acidity. A must for every barbecue!

Ingredients (12 ingredients)

  • 1200 g White cabbage
  • 3 piece Carrot(s)
  • 1 piece Onion(s)
  • 1 piece Lemon(s)
  • 150 g Natural yoghurt
  • 100 g Mayonnaise
  • 100 ml Milk
  • 1.5 tsp Apple cider vinegar
  • 1 Prise(n) Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper
  • 2 tsp Cane sugar
  • 1 Handvoll Parsley

Preparation (4 steps)

Prepare white cabbage, carrots and onion

Thermomix® Setting
5 sec/Speed 5

Quarter 1200 g white cabbage, remove the stalk and place in the mixing bowl. Chop for 5 sec./speed 5. Transfer to a large bowl. Peel 3 carrots, cut into pieces and place in the mixing bowl and chop for 4 sec./speed 5. Also add to the white cabbage in the bowl. Place 1 onion in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5. Also add to the bowl.

Prepare the dressing

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 3

Squeeze out 1 lemon. Add 150 g natural yoghurt, 100 g mayonnaise, 100 ml milk, 1.5 tsp apple cider vinegar, 1 tsp salt, pepper to taste and 2 tsp sugar to the mixing bowl. Mix for 20 sec./speed 3.

Mix and infuse the salad

Pour the dressing over the white cabbage, carrots and onions in the bowl and mix well. Close the salad in a bowl with a lid and let it infuse in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.

Season and serve the salad

Before serving, season the salad again with salt and pepper. Wash 1 handful of parsley, shake dry, chop finely and garnish the salad with it.
