Description

This fruity-fresh salad is an absolute highlight on warm days! I especially like to make it in the summer when things need to be quick and you still want something healthy on the table. The crisp iceberg lettuce harmonizes wonderfully with the sweet tangerines, bananas and pineapple. The tomatoes provide a slight acidity and the creamy sauce rounds everything off perfectly. A dash of lemon juice and fresh herbs are of course a must. The salad is ideal as a side dish for grilling or as a light lunch. If you like, you can sprinkle a few roasted nuts on top.

Ingredients (16 ingredients)

  • 1 piece Head Iceberg Lettuce
  • 1 kl. Dose/n Tangerine(s)-Oranges
  • 2 piece Banana(s)
  • 3 piece Tomato(es)
  • 2 Scheibe/n Pineapple from can
  • 1 kleine Onion(s)
  • 1 container sour cream
  • 100 g Mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 1 tbsp Tomato ketchup
  • 2 tsp Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper white
  • 0.5 piece Lemon(s) the juice
  • 0.5 bunch Chives or
  • 0.5 Kästchen Cress

Preparation (7 steps)

Prepare iceberg lettuce

Tear the iceberg lettuce into pieces, wash and spin the leaves dry. Then cut into narrow strips and place in a large bowl.

Chop onion

3 sec/Speed 5

Peel and quarter the onion and place in the mixing bowl. Chop for 3 seconds/speed 5. Scrape down from the edge with the spatula.

Add fruits and vegetables

Drain the tangerine oranges and add to the bowl with the sliced bananas, the skinned and quartered tomatoes, the diced pineapple and the chopped onion to the iceberg lettuce. Mix everything carefully.

Prepare dressing

20 sec/Speed 3

Put sour cream, mayonnaise, milk and ketchup into the mixing bowl. Stir for 20 seconds/speed 3.

Season dressing

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 2

Add sugar, salt, pepper and lemon juice to the dressing in the mixing bowl and stir for 10 seconds/speed 2.

Arrange salad

Pour the dressing over the salad and mix carefully. Let the covered salad steep in the refrigerator for 10 minutes.

Prepare herbs and garnish salad

Rinse the chives or cress with cold water, pat dry and chop finely. Sprinkle the finished salad with the herbs and serve immediately.
