  • Apples
  • Onions
  • Whole milk
  • to taste Extra virgin olive oil
  • Butter

Soaking the livers

Soak the chicken livers in whole milk for at least 2 hours. This step helps to soften the strong flavor of the livers.

Preparing the onions

Peel and slice the onions thinly. Put the onions in the bowl and chop for 3 Sec./Stufe 5.

Sautéing the onions

Add the extra virgin olive oil and a knob of butter to the bowl. Sauté the onions for 3 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Browning the livers

Drain the livers well from the milk and add them to the bowl with the onions. Brown everything for 5 Min./120°C/Stufe 2.

Adding the apples

Thermomix® Setting
10 min/212°F/Speed 1/Linkslauf 100 Reverse

Cut the apples into cubes and add them to the bowl. Also add a little water (about 50 ml) to promote cooking. Cook for 10 Min./100°C/Stufe 1/Linkslauf.

Serve

Check that the apples are completely softened. If necessary, extend the cooking for another 2-3 minutes. Serve hot.
