Description

I love this breaded chicken fillet recipe! It is so simple and quick to prepare, and the result is always delicious. The chicken fillets are cut into pieces, then coated in a crispy breading made from flour, spices and breadcrumbs. Cooking in hot air gives a golden and crispy result on the outside, while keeping the meat tender and juicy on the inside. Perfect for a quick lunch, a casual dinner or even a gourmet appetizer. They can be served with mayonnaise, ketchup or another sauce of your choice. A real treat for the whole family!

Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 400 g of chicken fillets
  • 50 g of flour
  • 2 piece eggs
  • 120 g of golden breadcrumbs
  • 1 c. à s. of paprika
  • 1 c. à s. of granulated garlic (optional)
  • 2 pinch of salt or fine salt
  • 1 tour of black pepper mill
  • 4 c. à s. of olive oil

Preparation (8 steps)

Preparation of the flour and spice mixture

Thermomix® Setting

In the Thermomix bowl, mix 50 g of flour, 1 tbsp of paprika, 1 tbsp of granulated garlic (optional), 2 pinches of salt or fine salt and 1 turn of black pepper mill. Mix 10 Sek./Stufe 3.

Cutting the chicken fillets

Cut the 400 g of chicken fillets into medium-sized pieces using a paring knife on a cutting board. Set aside.

Preparation of the breadcrumbs

Place 120 g of golden breadcrumbs in a deep plate. Set aside.

Preparation of the beaten eggs

In another deep plate, break the 2 eggs and beat them with a fork. Set aside.

Breading the chicken pieces

Dip the chicken pieces first in the flour and spice mixture prepared in step 1, then in the beaten eggs and then in the breadcrumbs, making sure to coat them well on all sides.

Application of olive oil

Using a brush, coat the breaded chicken pieces with 4 tbsp of olive oil.

Hot air cooking

Place the chicken pieces in the Air Fryer basket. Cook at 200°C for 12 minutes, turning the chicken pieces halfway through cooking. Allow for two batches.

Service

Serve the breaded chicken pieces hot, accompanied by mayonnaise, ketchup or another sauce of your choice.
