Description

This tomato avocado tartare is a real eye-catcher and tastes simply delicious! The combination of creamy avocado, fruity tomatoes and a slight spiciness from the Piment d'Espelette is simply unbeatable. I especially like to make it in the summer when the tomatoes are nice and juicy. It is super quick to prepare and is perfect as an appetizer or as a light snack in between. If you like it a little spicier, you can of course add a little more chili. The tartare can also be prepared well and stored in the refrigerator. An absolute favorite recipe!

  • 1 piece Shallot, small
  • 1 clove Garlic

Put the diced tomatoes, the chopped shallot and garlic, the avocado, the olive oil, salt, pepper and the Piment d’Espelette in a bowl. Mix everything carefully. No Thermomix setting required.

5

Let the tartare steep

Cover the tartare and let it steep in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes so that the flavors can develop well. No Thermomix setting required.

6

Arrange tartare

Fill approx. 1⁄4 of the avocado tomato tartare into an appetizer ring (approx. 8 cm Ø) for serving. Carefully remove the ring. Arrange 3 more tartare cakes from the remaining tartare. No Thermomix setting required.
