Description
This Tricolore Salad is a true classic of Italian cuisine and an absolute must for every summer! The combination of juicy tomatoes, creamy mozzarella and fresh basil is simply unbeatable. I especially like to make it when I have guests because it is quick to prepare and everyone simply loves it. The dish is vegetarian and gluten-free, so suitable for many diets. A dash of high-quality olive oil rounds it off perfectly. Buon appetito!
Ingredients (6 ingredients)

250 g mozzarella

1 piece large red tomatoes

extra virgin olive oil

pepper

fine salt

basil
Preparation (4 steps)
Sliced mozzarella
Place 250 g of mozzarella in the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./speed 4. Then remove the chopped mozzarella from the mixing bowl and set aside.
Sliced tomato
Place 1 large red tomato in the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./speed 4. Then remove the chopped tomato from the mixing bowl and set aside.
Assemble salad
Arrange a slice of mozzarella and a slice of tomato alternately on a plate. Arrange the slices either in a circle or next to each other.
Season and serve
Drizzle the arranged salad with extra virgin olive oil, pepper to taste and fine salt to taste. Then garnish with basil to taste.
