Description

These fresh tuna wraps are a delicious and simple finger food, ideal for parties or as a light lunch. The wraps are quick to prepare and can be varied with different vegetables and sauces as desired. With the Wundermix WunderSlicer V2, the cucumbers can be diced quickly and evenly. The recipe is designed for 8 servings and is good for preparing in advance.

Ingredients (12 ingredients)

  • 600 g canned tuna
  • 400 g cream cheese
  • 1 Stück onion
  • 0.5 Stück cucumber
  • 1 Bund parsley
  • 1 Etwas chives
  • 1 Spritze lemon juice
  • 1 Stück garlic clove
  • 16 Stück thin wraps
  • 1 Etwas Salt
  • 1 Etwas pepper
  • 150 g salad or salad mix

Preparation (9 steps)

Chop garlic and onion

Peel the garlic clove and place in the mixing bowl. Peel the onion, quarter it and also place it in the mixing bowl. Chop for 3 sec./speed 7.

Prepare parsley and chives

Rinse the parsley, pluck the leaves and roughly chop. Rinse the chives and cut into fine rings. Set both aside.

Prepare cream cheese mixture

Add the chopped garlic and onion, chopped parsley and chives to 400g cream cheese in a bowl and mix well.

Add tuna

Drain 600g of tuna, dice coarsely and add to the cream cheese mixture. Carefully fold in so that the tuna does not completely fall apart.

Prepare cucumber

Peel the cucumber, halve it and remove the seeds with a teaspoon. Dice the cucumber with the Wundermix WunderSlicer V2 and the coarse disc and add to the mixture.

Season

Season the entire mixture with 1 splash of lemon juice, salt and pepper. Add more herbs or spices to taste. The mixture can also be seasoned with sugar, remoulade, etc.

Prepare tortillas

Briefly heat 16 wraps and let cool again.

Fill wraps

Spread 2-3 tablespoons of the tuna cream over each wrap and distribute a few 150g salad or salad mix on top.

Roll and serve wraps

Roll up tightly and place on a plate with the seam facing down. The rolls can be eaten immediately, but they also tolerate being refrigerated for a few hours or even up to a day, then the dough becomes a little softer, but the filling becomes even more aromatic. To serve, carefully cut the wraps into rings with a sharp knife and arrange as desired.
