Description

This apple cinnamon cake with nuts, prepared in the Thermomix®, is an autumnal delight with apples, hazelnuts, and walnuts. The cake is ideal as a Sunday cake with coffee or as a sweet breakfast. Preparation takes about 50 minutes, of which 15 minutes are active work. The recipe yields 12 servings. Category: Cake.

  • 150 g Hazelnuts and walnuts (mixed)
  • 3 Stück Apples
  • 200 g Sugar
  • 3 Stück Eggs
  • 120 ml Oil
  • 120 ml Milk
  • 300 g Flour
  • 1 Päckchen Baking powder
  • 1 TL Cinnamon

Preparation (7 steps)

Chop nuts

Place 150 g of hazelnuts and walnuts in the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec/speed 5. Transfer and set aside.

Prepare apples

Peel, core, and chop 3 apples.

Beat sugar and eggs

Add 200 g sugar and 3 eggs to the mixing bowl and beat for 3 min/speed 4.

Add oil and milk

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 3

Add 120 ml oil and 120 ml milk and mix for 20 sec/speed 3.

Mix flour, baking powder and cinnamon

Add 300 g flour, 1 packet of baking powder and 1 tsp cinnamon and mix for 30 sec/speed 4.

Fold in nuts and apples

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Linkslauf/Speed 2 Reverse

Add the chopped nuts and apple pieces and fold in for 20 sec/Reverse/speed 2. Use the spatula to help.

Bake

Pour the batter into a greased cake tin and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C top/bottom heat for approx. 35 minutes.
