Description

This dish of poultry strips with cream and parsley semolina is a simple and quick delight to prepare with your Thermomix®. I love its creamy texture and the subtle scent of garlic and fresh parsley. The semolina, cooked to perfection, wonderfully accompanies the poultry. It's an ideal recipe for a weekday lunch or dinner, when you're short on time but want to treat yourself. You can vary the aromatic herbs according to your tastes, adding, for example, chives or thyme. A real treat for the taste buds!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 150 g Chicken
  • 90 g Semolina
  • 25 g Sweet butter
  • 4 clove Garlic
  • 2 c. à soupe Chopped parsley
  • 80 g Thick cream
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper

Cooking the semolina

Thermomix® Setting
8 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Pour 90 g of semolina into the Thermomix bowl. Add water according to the instructions on the semolina packaging, being careful not to add any fat. Program 8 Min./100°C/Stufe 1. Once cooked, set the semolina aside.

Garlic preparation

Thermomix® Setting

Put 4 peeled garlic cloves in the Thermomix bowl. Chop the garlic for 3 Sek./Stufe 7. Set the chopped garlic aside.

Pan-frying the poultry

Melt 25 g of sweet butter in a pan over low heat. Cook 150 g of poultry strips for 2 minutes on the first side, then turn them over. Add the reserved chopped garlic and continue cooking for about 2 to 3 minutes, depending on the thickness of the meat. Remove the poultry strips from the pan and keep warm.

Preparation of the parsley sauce

Add 2 tbsp of chopped parsley to the pan where the poultry was cooked. Mix quickly. Then add the cooked semolina and mix well to incorporate it into the cooking juices.

Finalizing the sauce

Add 80 g of thick cream to the pan. Mix gently to coat the semolina and parsley. Season with a pinch of salt and pepper.

Serve

Serve the poultry strips immediately, topped with the creamy parsley semolina sauce.
