Description

This Matcha ice cream is a real eye-catcher and tastes simply fantastic! The slight bitterness of the Matcha powder harmonizes perfectly with the sweetness of the vanilla ice cream and the fresh blueberries. I especially like to make it in the summer when it's supposed to be a refreshing cool down. The preparation is super easy and quick, so you can conjure up a delicious dessert spontaneously. If you like it even creamier, you can add a dash of cream. An absolute must for all Matcha lovers!

Ingredients (3 ingredients)

  • 800 ml Vanilla ice cream
  • 2 tbsp Japanese Matcha
  • 100 g Blueberries

Preparation (4 steps)

Let ice cream thaw

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 4

Put the vanilla ice cream into the mixing bowl and let it thaw for 10 sec./level 4 until it can be stirred well.

Stir in Matcha

20 sec/Speed 3

Add the Matcha powder to the mixing bowl and stir for 20 sec./level 3 until the powder is well distributed and the ice cream is creamy and evenly green. If necessary, use the spatula to push down from the edge and repeat the process.

Freeze ice cream mixture

Pour the ice cream mixture back into the container and place in the freezer for 45 minutes.

Serve ice cream

Form balls from the ice cream mixture, fill them into bowls and serve with fresh blueberries.
