Description

This antipasti gnocchi recipe with feta and kabanossi is a hearty and Mediterranean dish, ideal as a starter or main course. The combination of gnocchi, spicy kabanossi, fresh feta and aromatic herbs makes this dish a special taste experience. With the Thermomix® preparation is quick and easy, so you can enjoy a delicious dish in no time. Perfect for a festive dinner or a cozy lunch with friends and family. The recipe is designed for 4 servings.

Ingredients (15 ingredients)

  • 2 Stück Garlic cloves
  • 1 Stück Onion, halved
  • 1 Stück Red bell pepper, in pieces
  • 1 Stück Yellow bell pepper, in pieces
  • 1 Stück Zucchini, in pieces
  • 3 EL Virgin olive oil extra
  • 300 g Cocktail tomatoes, halved
  • 400 g Chopped tomatoes (can)
  • 50 g Water
  • 2 EL Dark balsamic vinegar
  • 2 TL Vegetable spice paste
  • 2 TL Dried Italian herbs
  • 800 g Gnocchi (chilled section)
  • 250 g Kabanossi, in slices
  • 200 g Feta, crumbled

Preparation (3 steps)

Chop vegetables

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/248°F/Speed 1 248°F

Put 2 garlic cloves, 1 onion halved, 1 red bell pepper in pieces, 1 yellow bell pepper in pieces and 1 zucchini in pieces into the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./level 5. Push down with the spatula. Add 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil and sauté for 3 min./120°C/level 1.

Cook sauce and cook gnocchi

Thermomix® Setting
20 min/Varoma/Speed 1 Varoma

Add 300 g cocktail tomatoes halved, 400 g chopped tomatoes (can), 50 g water, 2 tablespoons dark balsamic vinegar, 2 teaspoons vegetable spice paste and 2 teaspoons dried Italian herbs. Distribute 800 g gnocchi and 250 g kabanossi in slices in the Varoma so that some steam slots remain free. Place the closed Varoma on the mixing bowl and cook for 20 min./Varoma/level 1.

Arrange

Set aside the Varoma. Arrange the gnocchi with the sauce on plates, sprinkle with 200 g feta and serve.
