Ingredients (13 ingredients)

  • 1000 g mixed goulash (half beef/half pork)
  • 2 EL Clarified butter
  • 3 Stück medium-sized onions
  • 200 g Mushrooms
  • nach Geschmack Salt
  • nach Geschmack Black pepper
  • 2 EL Tomato paste
  • 2 EL Flour
  • 1 TL Sweet paprika
  • 400 ml Beef broth
  • 0.25 l Dry red wine
  • 4 Stück Tomatoes
  • 100 g Heavy cream

Preparation (9 steps)

Chop onions

Peel and quarter 3 medium-sized onions and place them in the mixing bowl. Chop for 3 sec./speed 5.

Sauté onions

Leave the chopped onions in the mixing bowl. Add 2-3 tbsp clarified butter and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Prepare mushrooms and tomatoes

Clean and halve 200 g of mushrooms. Wash and dice 4 tomatoes.

Brown the meat (NOT IN THE THERMOMIX!)

Pat 1 kg of mixed goulash (half beef/half pork) dry. Heat 2-3 tbsp clarified butter in a roasting pot. Brown the meat in portions, turning only when the underside has a crust. Season the meat in the pot with salt and pepper.

Mix meat, onions, tomatoes, and mushrooms

Place the browned meat, sautéed onions, mushrooms, and tomatoes in the mixing bowl. Mix for 5 sec./speed 3.

Add tomato paste and flour

Stir in 2 tbsp of tomato paste. Sprinkle 2-3 tbsp of flour over it and stir in for 10 sec./speed 3.

Add paprika powder

Add 1-2 tsp of sweet paprika and stir in for 5 sec./speed 2.

Deglaze and simmer

Pour in 400 ml of beef broth (jar) and 1/4 l of dry red wine. Stir for 10 sec./speed 3. Then simmer for 120 min./100°C/speed 1 Reverse.

Refine and season

Add 100 g of heavy cream and stir in for 10 sec./speed 2 Reverse. Season with salt and pepper.
