Description

This Ring Cake, prepared in the Thermomix®, is a festive cake with butter, flour, and Christmas spices. Preparation takes about 90 minutes, of which 30 minutes are active working time. The recipe is ideal for the Christmas season and festive occasions. The cake is a delicious dessert for the whole family.

Ingredients (13 ingredients)

  • 220 gr Butter
  • 200 gr Powdered sugar
  • 300 g Flour
  • 1 P Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 0.5 tsp Gingerbread spice
  • 3 tbsp Rum aroma
  • 0.5 tsp Rum aroma
  • 0.5 tsp Orange juice
  • 4 piece Eggs
  • 0.5 tsp Lemon zest
  • 80 ml Mild
  • 100 gr Grated chocolate

Preparation (9 steps)

Separate eggs

Separate eggs and set aside the egg whites.

Stir butter, powdered sugar and egg yolks until fluffy

Add 220 g butter, 200 g powdered sugar and 4 egg yolks to the mixing bowl and stir until fluffy.

Add cinnamon, gingerbread spice, lemon zest, rum aroma and orange juice

Add 1 tsp cinnamon, 0.5 tsp gingerbread spice, 0.5 grated lemon zest, 3 tbsp rum flavor and some orange juice to the mixing bowl and mix.

Stir in flour and baking powder

Add 300 g flour and 1 packet of baking powder to the mixing bowl and stir in.

Add milk

Add 80 ml milk to the mixing bowl and stir in.

Beat egg whites until stiff

Beat the reserved egg whites with the butterfly until stiff.

Fold in egg whites

Carefully fold the egg whites into the dough in the mixing bowl.

Fold in grated chocolate

Fold 100 g of grated chocolate into the dough in the mixing bowl.

Baking

Pour the dough into a ring cake tin and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 45-50 minutes.
