Description

This hearty sausage goulash with potatoes, leek and cabanossi is a quick and easy main course from the Thermomix®. In just 30 minutes you can conjure up 4 servings. Ideal for quick, cheap cooking and a hearty family meal. With the Thermomix®, preparation is child's play.

Ingredients (12 ingredients)

  • 750 g Potatoes
  • 750 g Leek
  • 400 g Cabanossi
  • 3 EL Oil
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Sugar
  • Sweet paprika
  • 1 EL Tomato paste
  • 350 ml Vegetable stock
  • 500 g Sieved tomatoes
  • 0.5 Bund Chives

Preparation (7 steps)

Prepare potatoes and leek

Peel, wash and dice the potatoes. Clean, wash and cut the leek into rings. Cut the cabanossi into slices.

Fry cabanossi

Heat oil in a separate pan. Fry the cabanossi in it, turning, and remove.

Fry potatoes

Put the potatoes in the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec/speed 5. Add oil and sauté for 3 min./120°C/speed 1.

Add leek

Add the leek to the potatoes in the mixing bowl and sauté for 3 min./100°C/speed 1. Season with salt, pepper, sugar and sweet paprika.

Sauté tomato paste

Add tomato paste and sauté for 1 min./100°C/speed 1.

Let the goulash simmer

15 min/212°F/Speed 1 212°F Reverse

Add cabanossi, vegetable stock and sieved tomatoes. Simmer for 15 min./100°C/speed 1 on reverse. Season with salt, pepper, sugar and sweet paprika and simmer for another 2 min./100°C/speed 1 on reverse.

Season and serve the goulash

Wash the chives, shake dry and cut into fine rolls. Arrange the goulash in a tureen and sprinkle with chives.
