Description

This gnocchi tomato casserole is a simple and delicious dish that is quick to prepare. The combination of soft gnocchi, juicy tomatoes and savory cooked ham, rounded off with a creamy cream cheese arugula sauce, makes it a real treat. I often make it when things need to be quick, but I still want something hearty on the table. It tastes particularly good when served warm with fresh basil. A great dish for the whole family!

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 500 g Potato gnocchi
  • 100 g Cooked ham
  • 300 g Cherry tomatoes
  • 40 g Arugula
  • 200 g Cream cheese
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 80 g Salt and pepper

Preparation (4 steps)

Chop garlic

Put a clove of garlic in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 7. Scrape down the side with the spatula.

Prepare sauce

Add 200 g cream cheese, 40 g arugula, salt and pepper to taste to the mixing bowl and stir for 15 sec./speed 3.

Prepare casserole

Place 500 g potato gnocchi, 100 g cooked ham in strips and 300 g halved cherry tomatoes in a casserole dish. Spread the cream cheese arugula sauce over it and mix everything well.

Bake casserole

Sprinkle the casserole with cheese and bake in a preheated oven at 200 °C (top/bottom heat) for approx. 25-30 minutes until the cheese is golden brown.
