Description

This hearty lasagne with béchamel is an absolute classic and tastes great to the whole family! I have been making it for years and it is always well received. The ground meat is refined with aromatic herbs and tomato paste, while the béchamel sauce gets a creamy note with nutmeg and cheese. The preparation takes some time, but the result is worth it. Perfect for a cozy dinner or a festive lunch. The lasagne can also be prepared and frozen well.

Ingredients (17 ingredients)

  • 600 g Ground meat
  • 2 piece Onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 500 ml Tomato puree
  • to taste Oregano
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1 Zehe(n) Garlic
  • to taste Paprika powder
  • 80 g Flour
  • 0.5 Liter Vegetable broth
  • 0.5 Liter Milk
  • 1 Pck. Pizza cheese
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • to taste Nutmeg
  • 1 Pck. Lasagne sheet(s)

Preparation (8 steps)

Chop onions

Peel 2 onions, quarter them and put them in the mixing bowl. Chop 3 sec./level 5.

Fry ground meat

Fry the ground meat in a pan with 2 tbsp of oil until it is crumbly. Add the chopped onions and sauté briefly.

Prepare ground meat sauce

Thermomix® Setting
10 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Put the fried ground meat with the onions in the mixing bowl. Add 1 tbsp of tomato paste, 500 ml of tomato puree, a finely chopped clove of garlic, salt, pepper, paprika powder and oregano. Cook 10 min./100°C/level 1.

Prepare béchamel sauce

3 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Put 80 g margarine in the mixing bowl and melt for 3 min./100°C/level 1.

Make a roux

Add 80 g of flour to the melted margarine and sauté for 2 min./100°C/level 2.

Finish the béchamel sauce

Thermomix® Setting

Slowly pour in 1/2 liter of vegetable broth and stir for 3 min./100°C/level 3. Then add 1/2 liter of milk and bring to a boil for 5 min./90°C/level 3. Add a handful of pizza cheese, salt, pepper and nutmeg and stir for 1 min./60°C/level 2.

Layer the lasagne

Put some ground meat sauce in a fireproof dish, put lasagne sheets on top. Then again ground meat sauce, then béchamel sauce. Repeat this process until all ingredients are used up. The last layer should be béchamel sauce.

Spread cheese and bake

Spread the remaining pizza cheese on the lasagne and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C circulating air for 30-40 minutes.
