Description

This pointed cabbage and minced meat pan with pasta is a hearty and quick dish for everyday life. The pointed cabbage provides a light sweetness and the crème fraîche makes everything nice and creamy. I like to make this pan when things need to be done quickly and everyone needs to be full. I particularly like the fact that the pointed cabbage does not become too soft, but still has a little bite. If you like, you can sprinkle some grated cheese on top. A great dish for the whole family!

Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 1 piece Onion
  • 2 clove Garlic
  • 500 g Pointed cabbage
  • 1 tbsp Sunflower oil
  • 500 g Mince (mixed)
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper
  • 1 tsp Paprika powder (sweet)
  • 400 g Pasta
  • 200 g Crème fraîche

Preparation (8 steps)

Chop onion and garlic

Thermomix® Setting
3 sec/Speed 5, 3 sec/Speed 7

Place 1 peeled onion in the mixing bowl and chop for 3 sec./speed 5. Add 2 cloves of garlic and chop for 3 sec./speed 7.

Prepare pointed cabbage

Halve 1 pointed cabbage (approx. 500 g), remove the stalk, quarter and cut into fine strips. Set aside.

Fry mince

Heat 1 tbsp sunflower oil in a large, high-sided frying pan over a medium-high heat and fry 500 g of mince (mixed) in it until golden brown and crumbly. Season with salt and pepper. Reduce the temperature to medium heat.

Sauté onion and garlic

Add the onion and garlic to the mince in the pan and sauté for 5 minutes.

Stew pointed cabbage

Add the pointed cabbage and 1 tsp paprika powder (sweet) and sauté briefly. Then add 50 ml water, cover the pan and simmer the mince-pointed cabbage mixture for 10 minutes.

Cook pasta

Meanwhile, bring a large pot of salted water to the boil and cook 400 g pasta in it according to the package instructions until al dente.

Stir in crème fraîche

Stir 200 g crème fraîche into the pan mixture and season again with salt and pepper.

Mix pasta and serve

Drain the pasta and add it to the pan dripping wet. Mix everything well and serve hot.
