  • 1 piece large egg
  • 5 tablespoons oats
  • 0.25 cup diced onion
  • 0.25 cup grated apple
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon minced fresh thyme
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon granulated garlic
  • 4 tablespoons maple syrup
  • 1 tablespoon German stone ground mustard

Preheat Oven

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C). This step does not involve the Thermomix.

Prepare Meatball Mixture

Add ¼ cup diced onion to the mixing bowl and chop for 3 Sec./Stufe 5. Add 18 ounces ground beef, 1 large egg, 5 tablespoons oats, ¼ cup grated apple, 2 tablespoons heavy cream, 1 tablespoon pure maple syrup, 1 teaspoon minced fresh thyme, 1 teaspoon salt, ½ teaspoon ground black pepper, and ½ teaspoon granulated garlic to the mixing bowl. Mix for 20 Sec./Stufe 4.

Shape Meatballs

Roll the beef mixture into 1-inch meatballs. This step does not involve the Thermomix.

Prepare Glaze

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 3

Add 4 tablespoons maple syrup and 1 tablespoon German stone ground mustard to the mixing bowl. Mix for 10 Sec./Stufe 3.

Brush meatballs with the glaze. This step does not involve the Thermomix.
