Description

This homemade seafood pizza is an explosion of sea flavors. The dough, made at home with the Thermomix®, is light and crispy, the perfect base for an aromatic tomato sauce and a generous topping of fresh seafood. Mussels and prawns combine with garlic, black olives and mozzarella to create a delicious and flavorful pizza. Ideal for a dinner with friends or a special family meal. Go ahead and prepare it, you will love it! You can add tuna or anchovies for an extra touch.

Ingredients (19 ingredients)

  • 400 gramos Flour
  • 15 gramos Pressed yeast
  • 1 cucharadita Sugar
  • 0.5 cup Warm water
  • 4 cucharadas soperas Oil
  • 1 cucharadita Salt
  • 400 gramos Crushed tomato
  • 1 piece Onion
  • 2 dientes Garlic
  • 1 pinch Black pepper
  • 1 vaso pequeño Poultry broth
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • Oil
  • 100 gramos Mozzarella cheese
  • 500 gramos Mussels
  • 100 gramos Prawns
  • 2 dientes Garlic
  • 24 piece Black olives
  • Oil

Preparation of the sourdough

In a small bowl, mix ½ cup of warm water, 1 teaspoon of sugar and 15 grams of pressed yeast. Cover and let stand for 15 minutes.

Mixing the dough

In the Thermomix bowl, add 400 grams of flour, 1 teaspoon of salt and 3 tablespoons of oil. Add the mixture of water, sugar and yeast. Knead for 2 Min./Knetstufe until the dough does not stick to the hands. Cover with a damp cloth and let stand for 1 hour until it doubles in volume.

Second rest of the dough

Flour the work surface, put the dough and knead again. Make a ball and let it rest in the covered bowl for 15 more minutes.

Spreading the dough

Flour the rolling pin and the work surface. Roll out the dough with the rolling pin until it reaches the size of a baking sheet. Grease the tray with oil, roll the dough on the rolling pin and spread it on the tray until it covers it.

Preparation of the tomato sauce

In the Thermomix bowl, add 1 onion and 2 cloves of garlic. Chop 3 Seg./Stufe 5. Add oil and sauté 3 Min./120°C/Stufe 1. Add 400 grams of crushed tomato, 1 pinch of black pepper, 1 pinch of salt and 1 small glass of poultry broth. Cook 10 Min./100°C/Stufe 2.

Assembly of the pizza

Cover the pizza base with the prepared tomato sauce and distribute 100 grams of grated mozzarella cheese.

Adding the seafood

Distribute 500 grams of mussels, 100 grams of prawns, 2 cloves of minced garlic and 24 black olives over the pizza. Drizzle with a little oil.

Baking the pizza

Bake in the preheated oven at 200°C for 15-20 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
