Description

These vanilla cookies are a classic that never fails. The recipe is very simple and perfect to make with children. The vanilla aroma floods the kitchen while they are baking, a delight! The dough is very easy to work with and can be cut into the shapes you like best. They are ideal to accompany a coffee or a glass of milk, or to give as a gift at Christmas. The key is to use good quality ingredients and not knead the dough too much so that they are tender and crunchy. Go ahead and prepare them, you will love them!

Ingredients (6 ingredients)

210 gramos Flour
85 gramos Sugar
140 gramos Butter
2 piece Egg yolk
1 cucharada Vanilla essence
2 piece Egg white

Preparation (5 steps)

Mix dry ingredients and butter

20 Seg./Speed 4

Place 210 grams of flour, 85 grams of sugar and 140 grams of butter in the Thermomix bowl. Mix for 20 seconds at speed 4.

Add yolks and vanilla

Add 2 egg yolks and 1 dessert spoon of vanilla essence to the bowl. Mix for 15 seconds at speed 3.

Spread and cut the cookies

Remove the dough from the bowl and spread it with a rolling pin on a floured flat surface. Cut the cookies with a cookie cutter or a knife.

Cover with egg white

Beat the remaining 2 egg whites lightly. Use a kitchen brush to cover the cookies with the beaten egg white. Place the cookies on baking trays previously greased with a little butter.
