Description
Kotlety - Russian meatballs are a hearty main course with minced meat, potatoes and onions, prepared in the Thermomix®. This simple recipe yields about 15 meatballs. Preparation takes about 30 minutes. Ideal for a quick family dinner or lovers of Russian cuisine.

500 g Minced Meat

45 g Breadcrumbs

1 Prise Salt

1 Prise Pepper
Preparation (6 steps)
Chop onions and potatoes
Place onions (2 pieces) and potatoes (90g) in the mixing bowl and chop for 4 sec./speed 6.
Scrape down chopped vegetables and chop again
Scrape everything down from the edge of the mixing bowl with the spatula and chop again for 15 sec./speed 6.
Add more ingredients and mix
Add eggs (2 pieces), minced meat (500g), breadcrumbs (45g), salt and pepper and mix for 1 min./kneading stage. Scrape everything down from the edge of the mixing bowl with the spatula and again for 20 sec./kneading stage.
Form meatballs
Form oval meatballs from the minced meat mixture and place on a tray.
Fry meatballs
Heat oil in a pan so that the meatballs are half covered and fry golden brown one after the other.
Drain and serve
Drain the finished meatballs on a kitchen paper and serve hot.
