Ingredients (10 ingredients)

  • 400 g Flour
  • 100 ml Lukewarm water
  • 1 Würfel Yeast
  • 1 TL Salt
  • 1 TL Sugar
  • 50 ml Olive oil
  • 1 Bund Parsley
  • 1 Bund Chives
  • 200 g Soft butter
  • 0.5 TL Pepper

Preparation (8 steps)

Prepare the yeast

Thermomix® Setting

Add 100 ml lukewarm water and 1 cube of yeast to the mixing bowl and mix for 2 min./37°C/speed 2.

Prepare the dough

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/Kneading speed

Add 400 g flour, 1 tsp salt, 1 tsp sugar, 50 ml olive oil and the yeast mixture to the mixing bowl and knead for 3 min./kneading setting.

Let the dough rise

Place the dough in a bowl and cover in a warm place for about 1 hour, until the volume has doubled.

Prepare the herbs

Put 1 bunch of parsley and 1 bunch of chives in the mixing bowl and chop for 5 sec./speed 5. Scrape down with the spatula.

Prepare the herb butter

Thermomix® Setting
20 sec/Speed 3

Add 200 g soft butter, the chopped herbs, 1 tsp salt and 1/2 tsp pepper to the mixing bowl and mix for 20 sec./speed 3.

Roll out and spread the dough

Roll out the dough on a floured work surface into a rectangle (approx. 30x40 cm). Spread the herb butter evenly on the dough.

Fold the dough

Cut the dough into strips about 3 cm wide. Fold each strip like an accordion and place in a greased loaf pan (approx. 25 cm long).

Bake the bread

Bake the bread in a preheated oven at 180°C top/bottom heat for approx. 40 minutes.
