Description

This creamed sliced pork with butter Spätzle, prepared in the Thermomix®, is a hearty main course with sliced pork, onions, cream and vegetable broth. Preparation takes about 45 minutes and yields 4 servings. The recipe is ideal for lovers of home-style cooking and quick, warm meals. It is an inexpensive option for a family meal.

Ingredients (12 ingredients)

  • 600 g Sliced pork
  • 1 Stück Onion
  • 1 EL Butter
  • 1 EL Flour
  • 200 ml Vegetable broth
  • 200 ml Cream
  • 1 TL Mustard
  • 1 TL Paprika powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 400 g Fresh Spätzle
  • 1 EL Butter

Preparation (8 steps)

Sear sliced pork

Pat sliced pork dry and sear vigorously in portions in hot butter in a separate pan until it takes on color. Remove and set aside.

Chop onion

Put onion in the mixing bowl and chop 3 sec./level 5.

Sauté onion

Add 1 tbsp butter and sauté 3 min./120°C/level 1.

Sauté flour

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/212°F/Speed 2 212°F

Stir in 1 tbsp flour and sauté briefly 1 min./100°C/level 2.

Prepare sauce

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/194°F/Speed 2 194°F

Deglaze with vegetable broth and cream. Stir in mustard and paprika powder, bring to a boil while stirring for 5 min./90°C/level 2 and let it reduce slightly until a creamy sauce forms.

Add meat and let simmer

Add meat along with meat juice back to the pan, mix well and let simmer over low heat for 5-10 minutes.

Prepare Spätzle

Toss Spätzle in 1 tbsp butter in a separate pan until they take on a light color.

Serve

Serve Spätzle with the creamed sliced pork.
