Description

This dish of macaroni with turkey meatballs is a comforting classic that I often prepare at home. The combination of pasta with homemade tomato sauce and juicy meatballs is simply delicious. It is an ideal recipe for a family meal, especially on colder days. The preparation is a bit laborious, but the end result is worth it. In addition, it can be prepared in advance and reheated, which makes it a perfect option for when you don't have much time. I hope you enjoy this recipe as much as I do!

Ingredients (17 ingredients)

  • 350 gramos Minced turkey meat
  • 1 clove Chopped garlic
  • 2 cucharadas soperas Chopped parsley
  • 1 piece Lightly beaten egg
  • 4 cucharadas soperas Olive oil
  • 1 piece Chopped onion
  • 1 rama Chopped celery
  • 2 unidades Chopped carrots
  • 400 gramos Canned crushed tomato
  • 1 vaso pequeño White wine
  • 1 rama Fresh rosemary
  • 1 hoja Bay leaf
  • 350 gramos Macaroni
  • 1 cucharadita Sugar
  • 1 cucharadita Salt
  • 1 cucharadita Ground black pepper
  • 50 gramos Grated cured cheese

Preparation of the meatballs

In a bowl, mix 350 grams of minced turkey meat, 1 clove of chopped garlic, 2 tablespoons of chopped parsley, 1 unit of lightly beaten egg, 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper. Mix all the ingredients well until a homogeneous mass is obtained.

Form and fry the meatballs

With lightly floured hands, form meatballs the size of a walnut. Heat 4 tablespoons of olive oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Fry the meatballs until golden brown on all sides and set aside.

Chop the onion, celery and carrots

Sauté the vegetables

Add the tomato and spices

Add 400 grams of canned crushed tomato, 1 small glass of white wine, 1 sprig of fresh rosemary, 1 bay leaf, 1 teaspoon of sugar, 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of ground black pepper to the glass. Program 20 minutes/100°C/speed 1.

Cook the sauce with the meatballs

Add the reserved meatballs to the glass. Program 25 minutes/98°C/speed 1/Reverse rotation.

Cook the macaroni

Meanwhile, bring lightly salted water to a boil in a pot and cook 350 grams of macaroni for 8 to 10 minutes, until al dente. Drain the pasta.

Mix the pasta with the sauce

Pour the drained macaroni into the glass with the sauce and meatballs. Mix gently with the spatula.

Serve

Serve the macaroni with meatballs on individual plates and sprinkle with 50 grams of grated cured cheese.
