Description

These savoury salmon muffins with cheese cream are perfect for a Sunday brunch or as a delicious appetizer. The combination of smoked salmon with cheese cream is simply delicious! Preparing them is really quick and easy with the Thermomix®. I love them because they are soft and tasty, and the cheese cream makes them even more irresistible. An original idea for a buffet or a party, which will conquer all your guests. Try them, you won't regret it!

Ingredients (18 ingredients)

  • 3 uova eggs
  • 150 ml milk
  • 100 ml seed oil
  • 40 g grated cheese
  • 250 g flour
  • 0.5 packet instant yeast for savoury cakes
  • 200 g smoked salmon
  • chives
  • pepper
  • fine salt
  • 500 g fresh creamy cheese
  • 100 g Greek yogurt
  • chives

Preparation of the dough

20 Sec./Speed 4

In the Thermomix bowl, insert the eggs, fine salt to taste, pepper to taste, milk and seed oil. Mix for 20 Sec./Speed 4.

Addition of dry ingredients

Add the grated cheese, flour and instant yeast for savoury cakes. Mix for 20 Sec./Speed 4.

Incorporation of salmon and chives

Thermomix® Setting
10 Sec./Linkslauf Speed 2 Reverse

Add the smoked salmon in small pieces and the chopped chives. Mix gently for 10 Sec./Reverse rotation Speed 2.

Baking in the oven

Divide the mixture into the muffin cups inside the 12 muffin mould. Bake in a preheated static oven at 180 °C for 20 – 25 minutes, or in a ventilated oven at 170 °C for the same time.

Cooling the muffins

Remove from the oven and let the muffins cool completely.

Preparation of the frosting

In the Thermomix bowl, put the fresh creamy cheese, the Greek yogurt, the fine salt to taste, the pepper to taste and a little chives. Mix for 20 Sec./Speed 3.

Decoration of the muffins

Put the cream in the pastry bag with the nozzle we prefer (we used the star one) and decorate each muffin. Finally, garnish the surface with a piece of rolled salmon, a little chives and tufts of thyme.
