Description

This Mediterranean lemon sauce is a real concentrate of fresh and fragrant flavors! Lemon zest, garlic, honey, oregano and almonds come together in a perfect condiment to enhance fish dishes, but also to flavor grilled vegetables or simply to spread on croutons. Preparation is very simple and quick thanks to our faithful Thermomix®. I often prepare it for summer dinners with friends, always enjoying great success. Try it, you won't regret it!

Ingredients (7 ingredients)

  • 1 piece Lemons
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 80 ml Extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 20 g almonds
  • 1 pinch pepper

Preparation (6 steps)

Lemon zest and honey

Thermomix® Setting
5 sec/Speed 8

With a sharp knife, obtain the zest of a lemon, being careful not to include the white part. Place the zest in the Thermomix bowl together with a teaspoon of honey. Blend for 5 Sec./Level 8.

Garlic and first blend

Thermomix® Setting
3 sec/Speed 7

Add a clove of garlic to the bowl. Blend for 3 Sec./Level 7.

Lemon juice

Thermomix® Setting
5 sec/Speed 4

Squeeze half a lemon and pour the juice into the bowl with the other ingredients. Mix for 5 Sec./Level 4.

Extra virgin olive oil and blending

Thermomix® Setting
10 sec/Speed 6

Add 50 ml of extra virgin olive oil to the bowl. Blend for 10 Sec./Level 6.

Oregano and almonds

Thermomix® Setting
5 sec/Speed 4

Add a teaspoon of oregano and 20 g of almonds to the bowl. Mix for 5 Sec./Level 4.

Oil and pepper

Thermomix® Setting
5 sec/Speed 5

Add another 30 ml of extra virgin olive oil and a grind of pepper to the bowl. Blend for 5 Sec./Level 5.
