Description

  • 4 Stück Sweet Onions
  • Broth
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Raisins or Bacon
  • 1 keine Sour Cream
  • 1 keine Egg
  • 1 Päckchen Cheese
  • 450 g Flour
  • 1 keine Egg
  • 0.25 keine Water/Milk
  • 1 Päckchen Dry Yeast
  • Salt
  • Sugar

Preparation (6 steps)

Prepare the onions

Peel and halve 4 sweet onions. Place the WunderSlicer V2 on the mixing bowl lid and select the desired slice (fine or coarse). Pass the onion halves through the WunderSlicer V2 and collect the sliced pieces.

Prepare the dough

Place 450 g flour, 1 egg, 1/4 water/milk, 1 packet of dry yeast, salt and sugar in the mixing bowl and process into a dough for 2 min./kneading stage.

Let the dough rise

Place the dough in a bowl and let it rise in a warm place for about 30 minutes, until it has doubled in size.

Sauté the onions

Sauté the sliced onions with a little broth in a pan until translucent. Season with salt and pepper. Add raisins or bacon to taste.

Prepare the topping

Mix 1 sour cream, 1 egg and 1 packet of cheese and season with salt and pepper.

Top and bake the onion cake

Roll out the dough on a baking sheet. Spread the sautéed onions on top and pour the sour cream-cheese mixture over it. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for about 20-25 minutes until the cake is golden brown.
