Description

This oatmeal bread is a simple and healthy recipe for a delicious breakfast. It contains oatmeal, whole wheat flour, yogurt and eggs, making it high in protein and filling. Preparation takes only about 35 minutes, including baking time. The bread is ideal for those looking for a quick and healthy breakfast.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 150 g Oatmeal
  • 50 g Whole wheat flour
  • 2 Stück Eggs
  • 150 g Greek yogurt
  • 1 TL Baking powder
  • 0.5 TL Salt
  • 1 TL Cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 EL Linseed or sunflower seeds (optional, for sprinkling)

Preparation (8 steps)

Preheat oven and prepare loaf pan

Preheat oven to 180°C top/bottom heat. Line a small loaf pan with baking paper.

Mix dry ingredients

Mix 150 g oatmeal, 50 g whole wheat flour, 1 tsp baking powder, 1/2 tsp salt and 1 tsp cinnamon (optional) in a bowl.

Mix liquid ingredients

Whisk 2 eggs and 150 g Greek yogurt in a separate bowl until smooth.

Prepare dough

Thermomix® Setting

Add liquid ingredients to dry ingredients and mix everything with the Meistermix Patix dough knife for 2 min./kneading stage until a smooth dough is formed.

Pour dough into mold

Pour dough into prepared loaf pan and smooth out.

Optionally sprinkle

Optionally sprinkle 1 tbsp linseed or sunflower seeds on the dough.

Bake bread

Bake in preheated oven for approx. 15 to 20 minutes. Test with a toothpick to see if the bread is baked through.

Cool and cut

Let cool briefly, then remove from the mold and cut into slices.
