Description

This orange and chocolate tiramisu is a delight that I often prepare for family celebrations. The combination of the fresh aroma of orange and the deliciousness of chocolate is simply irresistible! The cream is soft and velvety, and the ladyfingers soaked in orange juice give a touch of freshness that perfectly balances the sweetness of the chocolate. It is an easy dessert to prepare, especially with the help of the Thermomix®, and can be prepared in advance, which makes it perfect for special occasions. Try it, it will win you over at the first taste!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 250 ml fresh cream
  • 250 g mascarpone
  • 100 g condensed milk
  • 1 piece orange (the grated zest)
  • 100 g chocolate chips
  • 25 piece ladyfingers
  • 3 piece oranges (the juice)

Whip cream and mascarpone

Thermomix® Setting

Insert the fresh cream and mascarpone into the bowl. Whip for 2 Min./Stufe 4 with the butterfly inserted.

Add orange zest and condensed milk

Thermomix® Setting
20 Sec./Speed 3

Add the grated zest of an orange and the condensed milk into the bowl. Mix for 20 Sec./Stufe 3.

Incorporate the chocolate chips

Remove the cream from the bowl and transfer it to a bowl. Add the chocolate chips and mix gently with a spatula, making movements from the bottom up.

Prepare the orange juice

Squeeze the oranges to obtain the juice necessary to soak the ladyfingers. Pour the juice into a bowl.

Assemble the tiramisu

In a rectangular baking dish of 15 x 25 cm, spread a spoonful of cream on the bottom. Quickly soak the ladyfingers in the orange juice and form a layer in the baking dish.

Alternate layers of ladyfingers and cream

Cover the layer of ladyfingers with the cream. Continue alternating layers of soaked ladyfingers and cream until all the ingredients are used up. The last layer must be cream.

Decorate and chill

Decorate the surface of the tiramisu with a handful of chocolate chips. Store in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours before serving.
