Description

This country paella with pork and chicken is a comforting and flavorful dish, perfect for a family meal or a special celebration. The combination of pork and chicken, along with fresh vegetables, creates an explosion of flavors in every bite. I have been preparing it for years and it is always a success. It is ideal for those days when you want something homemade and nutritious. In addition, it is very versatile, you can add other seasonal vegetables or even seafood to give it a different touch. Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 100 gramos Pork loin
  • 100 gramos Chicken breast
  • 0.5 piece Pepper
  • 2 dientes Garlic
  • 3 piece Carrots
  • 1 can Peas
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 tazas Rice
  • 960 mililitros Water

Preparation (8 steps)

Vegetable preparation

Peel and cut the carrots into slices. Wash and cut the pepper into small pieces. Peel the garlic cloves.

Crush garlic and carrot

Insert the garlic cloves and carrots into the Thermomix bowl and crush 5 sec./Stufe 5.

Vegetable sauce

Add the chopped pepper to the bowl. Program 5 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Add the meat

Chop the pork loin and chicken breast into small cubes. Heat a little oil in a frying pan and brown the meat. Reserve.

Incorporate the meat and peas

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/212°F/Speed 1/Linkslauf 100 Reverse

Add the browned meat and the peas (drained) to the Thermomix bowl. Program 2 Min./100°C/Stufe 1/Linkslauf.

Add the rice

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/212°F/Speed 1/Linkslauf 100 Reverse

Add the rice to the bowl and stir with the spatula so that it mixes well with the sauce and the meat. Program 1 Min./100°C/Stufe 1/Linkslauf.

Rice cooking

20 min/212°F/Speed 1/Linkslauf 100 Reverse

Add the water and salt to the bowl. Program 20 Min./100°C/Stufe 1/Linkslauf. If desired, add food coloring.

Once the cooking is finished, let the paella rest for a few minutes before serving.
