Ingredients (9 ingredients)

  • 1 bunch Parsley
  • 1 pinch Pepper
  • 20 ml Olive oil
  • 50 g Parmesan
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • 1 can Chickpea
  • 0.5 piece Red onion
  • 6 piece Cherry tomatoes
  • 300 g Pasta

Preparation of the ingredients

Break the pasta into pieces of 3-4 cm in length. Roughly chop the half red onion. Cut the 6 cherry tomatoes in half. Chop a clove of garlic.

Cooking the onion

Pour a base of olive oil (about 20 ml) into the Thermomix bowl. Add the chopped red onion and sauté for 3 minutes at 120°C, speed 1.

Adding chickpeas and garlic

Add a can of chickpeas (drained and rinsed) and the chopped garlic to the Thermomix. Cook for 7 minutes at 100°C, speed 1, gently mixing with the reverse function.

Final cooking with tomatoes and parsley

Add the halved cherry tomatoes, chopped parsley and pepper to the Thermomix. Mix for 1 minute at 90°C, speed 1, reverse direction.

Mixing pasta and sauce

Thermomix® Setting
30 sec/140°F/Linkslauf Speed 1 60 Reverse

Drain the cooked pasta in a saucepan of boiling salted water. Add the drained pasta to the Thermomix bowl and mix gently for 30 seconds at 60°C, speed 1, reverse direction.

Serve the pasta in plates. Add parmesan shavings and pepper on top.
