Description

These creamy pasta with ham are a comforting and quick dish to prepare, perfect for a weeknight dinner. I love the simplicity of this recipe, which requires only a few basic ingredients. The secret lies in the thick sour cream, which brings an incomparable smoothness to the sauce. The ham, cut into strips, adds a touch of salty flavor that goes perfectly with the sweetness of the cream. It is a dish that I often make when I do not have much time, but I want something tasty and nourishing. You can vary the types of pasta according to your preferences, and add a pinch of nutmeg for a more gourmet touch. A real delight!

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 400 g pasta (spaghetti, penne, small shells...)
  • 4 slice white ham in strips
  • 20 cl thick sour cream
  • 4 c. à s. olive oil
  • Salt or fine salt
  • Pepper
  • 1 piece chopped onion
  • 1 clove chopped garlic

Cooking the pasta

Thermomix® Setting
10 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Fill the Thermomix bowl with water. Add a pinch of salt. Program 10 Min./100°C/Stufe 1. Add 400 g of pasta (spaghetti, penne, small shells...) and cook according to the time indicated on the packaging. Drain the pasta and add 2 tbsp of olive oil.

Preparing the sauce

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

Put 1 chopped onion in the Thermomix bowl and mix 3 Sek./Stufe 5. Add 2 tbsp of olive oil and 1 clove of chopped garlic. Sauté 5 Min./120°C/Stufe 1.

Adding the cream

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/194°F/Speed 1 90

Add 20 cl of thick sour cream to the Thermomix bowl. Simmer 2 Min./90°C/Stufe 1.

Adding the ham

Thermomix® Setting
2 min/194°F/Speed 1 90

Add 4 slices of white ham in strips to the Thermomix bowl. Salt and pepper. Simmer 2 Min./90°C/Stufe 1.

Mixing and serving

Mix the ham sauce with the drained pasta. Serve immediately.
