Description

I love this recipe for pasta with bacon and eggs, it's a comforting dish that's quick to prepare, perfect for a weeknight dinner or a gourmet brunch. The combination of crispy bacon, creamy eggs and melted cheese is simply irresistible. I often make this recipe when I don't have much time to cook, but I want a tasty and nourishing dish. You can use different types of pasta, such as spaghetti, penne or fusilli. For a lighter version, you can replace the bacon with diced ham. A little fresh chopped parsley adds a touch of freshness to this simple but delicious dish.

Ingredients (8 ingredients)

  • 1 pinch Salt or fine salt
  • 1 pinch Pepper
  • 50 g Grated Gruyere cheese
  • 2 piece Egg
  • 150 g Matchstick bacon
  • 200 g Pastas
  • 20 g Butter
  • 1 l Water

Preparation (5 steps)

Cooking the pastas

Thermomix® Setting
10 min/212°F/Speed 1 100

Fill the Thermomix bowl with 1 liter of water, add a pinch of salt. Program 10 Min./100°C/Stufe 1. Then add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions, using the cooking time indicated on the package, 100°C/Stufe 1/Linkslauf. Drain the pasta in a colander.

Preparation of the bacon

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/248°F/Speed 1 120

Put 20g of butter in the Thermomix bowl. Program 3 Min./120°C/Stufe 1 to melt the butter.

Cooking the bacon and pasta

Thermomix® Setting
5 min/Varoma/Speed 1/Linkslauf Varoma Reverse

Add 150g of matchstick bacon to the bowl and program 5 Min./Varoma/Stufe 1/Linkslauf to brown them. Then add the drained pasta and mix gently for 2 Min./90°C/Stufe 1/Linkslauf.

Adding the eggs

Thermomix® Setting
3 min/176°F/Speed 1/Linkslauf 80 Reverse

Break 2 whole eggs into the bowl and program 3 Min./80°C/Stufe 1/Linkslauf. Stir well with the spatula during cooking so that the eggs cook evenly.

Finish and serve

Thermomix® Setting
1 min/140°F/Speed 1/Linkslauf 60 Reverse

Add 50g of grated Gruyere cheese to the bowl and program 1 Min./60°C/Stufe 1/Linkslauf to melt the cheese. Salt and pepper to your liking. Serve immediately.
